As we discussed during class, tree plays an important role in the poems. It represents the protection from parents and the God, and it was drawn like an umbrella. In the poems, the big and strong trees are the tree of life and tree of the earth. On the other hand, the thin tree makes the connection between the ground and the heaven. The branches go through the lines of the poems also indicates that the tree is a part of the poems.
I liked that you mentioned the trees were part of the poem itself. It's almost as if trees signify that innoncence and experience are irrevocably intertwinned with life itself.
