only revolutions
it's a pretty confusing book, the way the words are composed. and sometimes i have to flip over the see the same words for the other person, because there are things i might not notice. they are ultimate lovers and they brought up the story about the creep. i think it might mean temptations and punishments? maybe, and i feel like the creep is the 3rd person between sam and hailey who was trying to ruin their relationship, and the whole thing reminds me of the gardan of edan, the story about the apple, the creep might be the snake and those delicious food he presents sam and hailey are apples, and then after they eat them, they have to pay for it, but sam and hailey kinda just ran away, i'm not sure.

I think the idea of the Creep being both a temptation and punishment definitely makes sense. Although he attempts to lure Hailey away from Sam, and effectively destroy their relationship, he also seems to want to punish Sam for being with Hailey in the first place by cheating him in some sort of game or contest.
ReplyDeleteAlso, he seems to throw off Hailey and Sam's relationship simply because he is the third person in the situation. It's almost as if Sam and Hailey 'revolve' around each other, and the Creep throws off their rotation completely.
