multimedia literature is uusing different ways to tell the story. the book MAUS we read is one of it. it's actually a comic form of book, but from the way the writer draw the characters and the backgrouds, shadows, we can get a better feeling of the thoughts and atmosphere of the situation and the character. there are sound, drawing, feeling, smelling to show more sides of a story. in the book house of leaves, there are ways of composing the paragraphs relate to the contents of the book. and sometimes we can feel how the character feels, anxious and fear. it's not just the words but also the way they are put, and someother things about it, like the short piece of music in house of leaves.
